The Witches of Eastwick

The auditions for The Witches of Eastwick have truly cast a spell over us — the talent has been nothing short of magical, making our final decisions far more difficult than we anticipated. Inevitably, some wonderful performers may feel disappointed, and we’ve created a reserve list of additional female ensemble that we can only revisit if we’re able to welcome more men into Eastwick. Please do have a think about anyone who might be keen to join this production.

When rehearsals begin, every member of the ensemble will be given a character name and a role within the community of Eastwick.

Hessle Theatre Company is proud to announce the next show to fly onto the Hull New Theatre stage is the dangerously sexy and magically hilarious musical comedy, ‘The Witches of Eastwick’.

Based on the book and the film of the same name, “The Witches of Eastwick’ follows three bored and frustrated women, Alexandra Spofford, Jane Smart and Sukie Rougemont who live in the quiet and insular town of Eastwick. The town is turned upside down by the arrival of a charismatic stranger, Darryl Van Horne, who seduces the three women by releasing the powers locked within them… but at what cost?

The musical has developed a cult following since Cameron Mackintosh produced the West End premier in 2000. Now is your chance to be involved in this naughty, funny show when Hessle Theatre Company perform at Hull New Theatre, 7-10 April 2027.
