Friends of HTC “Dear Members, past members, life members and and all associated with Hessle Theatre Company Firstly I am honoured to be Chairman for 2014-2015 and our opportunity to present “Sister Act” The Musical at the Hull New Theatre in March. The tickets are selling well, the cast and crews alike are all working so hard under the direction of Martin Beaumont to produce and deliver a truly “fabulous” show we are all so proud to be a part of. However, to produce a show of this caliber the financial cost is high. It takes shrewd management from the committee to make sure the creativity and quality of our shows is never compromised. Our reputation as we are all aware, is envied and we offer our performing members the best platforms the area can offer, to bring out the best of their talents for the theatre going public of Hull and the East Riding. To perform at the New Theatre and Hull Truck Theatre and make even a small profit from our shows becomes less possible as each year goes by, we recognise it is even more important to create other income streams to support our major shows. For this season we are launching again “Friends of Hessle Theatre Company” a real and genuine opportunity for family, friends, past members, business colleagues etc., to become part of the “Hessle” family. To keep our “Friends” is really important to us. As a Friend of Hessle Theatre Company, you will receive the following: Regular email newsletter Advance notification of productions A complimentary programme for our main production An acknowledgement in our Souvenir Programme. We will keep our “Friends” informed of upcoming social and special events they may wish to join us in. For only £25 a year they can be a part of our 92 year old history, part of our company, “be our friends;” and their generosity will help keep “Hessle Theatre Company” producing superb quality productions, foster and encourage local talent and enhance our reputation for many more years to come.
