Written by musical-comedy veterans Kander & Ebb (creators of 'Cabaret' and 'Chicago'), 'Curtains' opened on Broadway in 2007 and was nominated for 8 Tony Awards. Set in 1959, the show opens with the finale of "Robbin' Hood" (a Broadway-bound western musical) and the murder of its talentless leading lady. Lovable detective, Frank Cioffi, attempts to solve the crime but becomes increasingly distracted by helping to fix the show before opening night, and falling in love with one of the cast. With a host of great show-tunes, hilarious dialogue and suspenseful murders, 'Curtains' is a comic and heart-warming homage to the classic musicals of the 50s.
